READING:
The students were very excited to check out free choice books from the library last week.  It was a fun way to celebrate all of their hard work and reading growth this year.  All library book are due by the beginning of next week.  Thank you!

MATH:
Today we completed the first practice test to prepare for our last math assessment coming up next week.  Please look for the review coming home on Monday.  And yes, we still have ONE more test to take.  Students will take our Unit 7 Math assessment on Tuesday.  They are ready!!  This assessment will cover number lines, equal shares (including halves, thirds, and fourths), and word problems.  I will get this test graded quickly and sent home to you next week. :)
Next week your child will also bring home their math journal book.  You will notice that many of the pages are not finished.  Much of our work time in class is done on whiteboards.  The journal pages can be used for great summer practice!

GROWTH MINDSET:
I'm thankful for my struggle because without it I wouldn't have stumbled across my strength!
