Good Luck 3rd Graders

To my wonderful students and their families from last year...it's almost time to start our new year and that means it's time to unsubscribe to this second grade blog. There should be a place to unsubscribe right in the email you received notifying you of a new post. I hope you had a great summer! Welcome to our Second Grade Blog! I am so glad you came to visit! This is the place to go for all things 2nd Grade! As school quickly approaches, I am busily getting our classroom ready for all the wonderful learning that will take place this year!

As you shop the back to school sales, we are always in need of donations! Below is a list of recommended items, as well as items we are always in need of!

Recommended items: 

1. Box of 24 crayons

2. Box of Kleenex 

3. Small pencil box (5x8)

4. Pencils (one dozen sharpened)

5. One inch clear view hard cover binder (no larger, white)

6. One pair of headphones/earbuds in a baggy labeled with name 

Items for your child's desk (optional): 

1. Markers

2. Scissors

3. Colored pencils

Things we would LOVE for you to donate to the classroom: 

1. Clorox wipes

2. Ziploc baggies (gallon size only)

3. Plastic spoons

5. Individually wrapped candy

6. Stickers

7. Glue sticks

8. Indoor recess games

9. Post it notes

*There will be a "giving tree" at open house with other needed items!
