We had another fabulous week in second grade. We began to build our routines for reading, writing, and math. Here are a few pictures from our "book tasting". Students loved sampling a variety of books that they would like to read this year!

We are a PEANUT FREE classroom this year! Please make sure your child's snack does not contain peanuts. Also, if you are going to provide a birthday treat for the entire class, the snack has to be peanut free (including snacks made in a factory with nuts or "may contain nuts" written on the label). Please make sure to read the labels carefully before purchasing or making treats for the class. Thank you! Your help is very much appreciated!!!Next week is HOMECOMING WEEK for Hudsonville. We will be celebrating by having Spirit Week!

Also, I am looking for one or two volunteers that would be willing to label a few of our classroom books by level. This job would include looking up each book on the computer and labeling the book with the corresponding level. Please let me know if you are interested. Thanks!
